TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Makers & Finders Markets focus on products designed by the stallholder, locally made and secondhand stalls. All stalls must fit onto one of the Market categories. However we may also take other products on a case by case basis that offer a product mix that Market Manager deems to be in keeping with the style of the Markets.
Counterfeit products will not be tolerated.

9am - 2pm (strictly no pack up before 2.01pm!)
We do not accept early pack downs without prior approval.
REQUIREMENTS
3x3 marquees need to be supplied by you
racks, tables, chairs to be supplied by you
You must have weights and/or pegs for your marquee.

No Plastic bags! This is a plastic free event
SITE
Stall Size Outdoor stall size is 3x3m. Indoor stall size is 2x2m
All stalls must be well presented, creative, and in keeping with the style of the Market. They must be neat & tidy and display signage of the designer’s logo/name where possible. Interesting display units, rugs, flowers/plants, timber crates, tablecloths etc. (be creative and have fun with it!)
PERMANENT STATUS
Stallholders may be allocated a permanent status by the market coordinator. The understanding is that permanent site bookings will be maintained for registered stallholder use unless the market coordinator receives adequate notification (at least two days prior to the market day) of cancellations. Permanent stallholders who do not attend an allotted market and fail to provide adequate cancellation notice (at least two days prior to market day) on two occasions will forfeit their permanent status and their allocated site may be reallocated without further notice.
ACCESS
Knox Park - Access is available via Nullum Street. Drive into Knox Park
M|Arts Indoor –access via Proudfoot Lane. Note there is no vehicle access to the market site.
PARKING
Stallholders are requested to park their vehicles in the parking area on Nullum Street all day parking
CANCELLATION POLICY
The Makers & Finders Markets operate rain or shine (unless deemed unsafe or grounds are damaged). Stall holders are required to provide suitable shelter for wet weather. In the case that a Stallholder needs to cancel, if the stallholder notifies the Market manager by email giving 48 hours notice, stall fees may be transferred to the next consecutive market date. In the event that a market is cancelled by market management (due to external factors such as extreme unsafe weather), all confirmed stallholders will be contacted by 6am on the morning of the event via the Facebook group and via email. Where adverse weather means we need to pack up the market early or cancel entirely, no refunds or stall credits are given. Management is not responsible for adverse weather conditions so there are no refunds for this reason. Market Cancellations Where the grounds are unavailable to trade (eg flooded), but the weather is otherwise fine, we'll duly offer refunds or stall credits
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All disputes and complaints must be presented in writing and directed to the Market Manager for resolution. No verbal disputes or complaints will be entered into on the day of the Event.
You are responsible for your wares and financial transactions at all times. You are required to follow any suggestions regarding health and safety made
All stall equipment including racks, tables, equipment, signage; etc. must be located within stall site boundaries. Public access ways must be kept clear at all times.
Stallholder rubbish must be taken with the vendor, bins on site are for public use only, and may not be used by stallholders
All stalls must be set up and ready to trade at the commencement of the Trading Hours. It is the responsibility of the Stallholder to continue trading for the full duration of the event.
Stall allocations are made at the discretion of Management.
Stalls cannot be transferred, sublet or sold to any other person, nor can they be shared without written approval.
All products offered for sale must be as described and approved during the application process.
Stallholders who’s products are clearly imported or purchased from a wholesaler or are deemed inappropriate (eg: discriminatory or offensive) will be asked to leave immediately.
Any Stallholder seen to be packing up their stand before the scheduled close time without prior approval will have their subsequent bookings terminated with no further correspondence being entered into.
Stallholders may seek Management permission to pack up their stall early due to adverse weather conditions.
PERMITS
It is the responsibility of the stallholder to ensure that he/she trades in accordance with Market, State and Local Council Regulations and that he/she conforms to any Australian standards pertaining to the product being sold. It is the stallholder’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has on hand at all times any Council Licenses or Permits pertaining to the product being sold and that their stall setup meets all Council Regulations.
PLASTIC FREE EVENT
We care about our environment. All traders agree to only use environmentally friendly bags and products at our market.
By accepting a stall site, stallholders acknowledge they have read and accept this policy and will trade in accordance with the terms therein. Non‐conformation, bad language and abusive behaviour will result in the withdrawal of your opportunity to trade at the market
